RADIOLOGY 101 Book and Test

This course will give a working knowledge of the basic principals and practice of medical imaging. It is designed to aid in the understanding of diagnostic radiographic images and the role that imaging plays in disease diagnosis. There is a dedicated chapter for each anatomical region of the body. Each chapter describes normal and abnormal findings, and correlations of the disease on MR, CT, or ultrasound. The last three chapters are an introduction to Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Angiography, the benefits to these modalites, and the important role of each. 

APPROVED FOR 16 Category A Credits and 16 Florida State Technical Hours. Meets all other state requirements.
