Body CT Book and Test (complete course)

This course is divided into three parts, Thorax, Abdomen and Pelvis, and the Musculoskeletal System. The thorax includes CT techniques, types of scanners, general principals and protocols. It then describes normal and abnormal findings in the mediastinum, pulmonary hila, lung disease, pleura, chest wall and the diaphragm. All along showing correlation of such on CT images and if necessary conventional radiographs or other imaging tools in the explanation in all three parts. In the abdomen and pelvis it discusses approach, contrast agents, interpretation, artifacts, radiation doses and normal and abnormal findings in the abdominal and pelvic organs. The Musculoskeletal part discusses the uses of CT in trauma, nontrauma, and incidental findings. APPROVED FOR 14 Category A credits and 14 Florida State technical hours. Meets all other state requirements.
